We recommend that you have your sports physicals done by our physicians who know your child's history. These can usually be done as part of your yearly physical exam. Please bring the sports physical forms from your school and be sure to fill out the history questionaire for review during your appointment.
ONE YEAR OLD DIET 1. Begin whole or 2% milk but only 8 -12 ounces each day 2. We now want your baby's nutrition to primarily come from solids not liquids 3. Nothing to drink one hour before meals because this will decrease appetite 4. Table foods instead of baby foods 5. Off bottle and pacifier by 15 - 18 months. This can cause speech problems or arch the palate & expensive orthodontic bracing of teeth later if pacifier used too much or too long 6. No diet restrictions unless allergic reaction 7. Remember fruits and vegetables most important & dairy product calcium; avoid simple sugars and junk food (this includes too much juice - no more than 8 ounces a day). 8. Start vitamins (such as Poly Vi Sol + cc QD)
